Changing the relative path for covers

Thu Oct 04, 2007 10:18 pm
Hello!

Amarok searches for covers in the directory of the song. In my filesystem the
cover always lies one level higher.

For example:

/Artist/Albumname/Song.ogg
/Artist/Albumname.jpg

Is there a way to tell Amarok to search in the correct place?

Not really, sorry. Maybe you could set up symlinks.

Thanks for your reply.

But normally I configure my applications to fit my needs (in this case my collection) and not vice versa.

Does it make sense to add this to a wishlist? What would be the right place for this?

Edit: There seems to be a bug for it: http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=96667
