Developers are now concentrating all their efforts on getting Amarok 2.0 usable for the release of KDE 4.0.

This means that there will be no new features added to Amarok 1.4 'Fast Forward', and only critical bugs will be fixed. Bug reports that request behavioural change will be noted for possible inclusion after 2.0, but will not be actioned in current versions.

There may be maintenance releases from time to time until the 2.x series is stable enough for general release.
