Reload collection database on startup

Mon Nov 05, 2007 11:48 am
although I have the "remember current playlist on shutdown"-option on, when I restart my computer Amarok always has forgotten the collection database, which I have to reload. It takes some time, so I don't like it. I remembered the collection database before, but I can't seem to fullfill this option after I installed the new Ubuntu. I am using MySQL...

Help? - Thanks, Bart

You're talking about two different things here - collection database, and playlists. The setting for "remember playlists on startup" is unrelated to the persistence of the database.

Which particular problem are you having trouble with? Your playlists not being loaded on start, or your collection disappearing each time you start? (or both)
