I really like the current amarok layout more than what's cooking in version 2. Actually I hate how it looks in 2..
Will there be a way to use version 2, with amaroks current layout ? Classic view or something like that ?

Nope, sorry. You can however keep using Amarok 1.x, even with KDE4.

Switching to the classical playlist view, and resizing the context view to nothing gives you something that is actually quite like the old Amarok
