Im trying to get my ipod classic to sync with amarok I heard that I need  ibgpod-0.6.0-2.fc7.i386.rpm but it has a dependency libgpod.so.2 and I cant find it do you know where I can get it

Download and install or compile libgpod either by downloading it form gktpod.sf.net or from your distro's package manager. I like to live on the bleeding edge and so i compile SVN and try it, so i can help, but Arch Linux provides fresh packages of Amarok and libgpod. If you install gtkpod and libgpod, you should already have that .so file. Try it...
