first of all, i really like amarok, it's a very good music player that has a lot of potential. there's just one big thing i'm missing.

i have a large metal music library. but metal isn't just metal. there's many subgenres, and sometimes those subgenres have even more detailed subgenres. (e.g. rock -> metal -> extreme metal -> doom metal -> funeral doom metal)

it would be really helpful if i could have a kind of hierarchical structure to show those genres. as far as i know, id3v2 doesn't support several genres, and amarok doesn't support user defined id3 tags. you can use amarok labels like genres and sort by labels, but then you don't have a hierarchical structure.

is there any way to implement that into future amarok versions? it would be a huge help for me, and i'm sure also to many other people.
