A little feature request/call for help

I've enabled the directory column which is good for managing a growing collection but i would really like to be able to trim it somehow

All my music and podcasts are located in /home/username/Music/ and then Artist/Album meaning that Amarok shows /home/username/Music/Artist/Album in the column

If I could remove the "stadard" path, even just /home/username the column wouldn't be so darn long.. Anyone knows a script or another approach to do this?
