is there a way to do that? i want to keep my lyric and cover art, so that i dont have to download them again.

Your kde config data is in ~/.kde/
You might want to save it and copy it to your new installation.
Amarok's data can be found in ~/.kde/share/apps/amarok

so will amarok automatically recognize the old data, or i have to configure something?
