How to save default audio device?

Thu Apr 24, 2008 2:44 am
Hi,

I've had a search here for this since I doubt I'm the first to experience this, but can't seem to find what I'm looking for. I have Amarok installed on a laptop with an in-built AC-97 device and a USB-connected Xitel HiFi Link. Amarok always defaults to the internal device. Every time I fire up Amarok I must go into the engine configuration panel and set the device to hw:1,0 to select the HiFi Link.

Is there any way to save this so that next time it will start with the correct device? Like an rc.amarok file?

Cheers,

FP.

OS
I guess configuring this in
~/.kde/share/apps/amarok/xine-config
should help.
