Just wondering. I would compile it, but the Xcode 3.1 required to compile is a beast of a download (1.1GB!). Also, is it an issue of some amount of importance, or is it one of those things that's been thrown into the "it would be nice it if it gets there, but we're not making particularly strong efforts for it" bin?

If you're talking about Amarok2, then there's not likely to be any OS X binary until the unix version is stable (or at the very least, officially released!), and only then if a dev or someone else wants to create one.
Yes, Xcode is a large download - maybe you could get someone else to grab it for you and stick it on a DVD.
