Will amarok run on Kubuntu 8.04 (Hardy) with KDE4

Will the current release of Amarok run with Kubuntu 8.04 Hardy with KDE4, or should I be waiting for Amarok 2.0?  (and does anyone know how long that will be?)  I'm new to Amarok and I'm eager to try it out.

Yea Amarok 1.4 will run fine.
