hi!

i just switched from windows to linux (openSUSE 10.3). I used foobar2000 as my player for 3 years, but now I'll use amarok. So, I have some questions about amarok.
-In the sidebar, my music is sorted by alphabet. But is there possibility to sort my music differently (eg by year or directory)?
-i have many mp3s with custom tags, i added in foobar (like %catnr% for catalog number, %tytpe% for release type etc). Can I use these tags for sorting my music (eg by publisher->catalog number)? (Yes, i found program Kid3 wich does tagging pretty well).
-is there possibility to sort my music files? (in foobar I could copy & move my mp3s, and fb2k would generate folder names from tags. is this possible in amarok (or maybe in kid3)?)

-Check the "group by" button in the collection tab
-only by creating customs cripts that handle those tags. sorry, I don't know of any that already does.
-right click on entries in the collection and have a look at the management options there.
