Copy Album Art To Generic MP3 Player

Sat Oct 04, 2008 11:18 pm
Hi Guys,

I just bought a Sprint HTC Diamond Cell phone and it has a great MP3 player built into it that can show album covers.  The phone connects to my linux box as a mass storage device so its pretty simple to get amarok to copy music to it as a generic mp3 player.  I see that amarok will copy album covers to an iphone, how about a generic mp3 player?

I've seen some scripts but they all seem pretty clunky.  I"m looking for it to just drop an album cover into any folder it creates.

Thanks

I found a script that Embeds the covers in the ID3v2 tags.  Apparently this is what the diamond is looking for when it loads the covers.  I tried copying a jpg to the directory that the music was in but that didn't do it.  Once I used the "EmbedCover" script it worked.

Just in case anybody else is looking that was the solution that worked for me.
