i currently use (and appreciate) amarok 1.4.10.  is it worth uninstalling so that i can install slackware 1.92.2?  what are the differences?  thank you for your time.

1.92.2 is the version number for Amarok 2 beta 2. I would recommend sticking with 1.4.10 for the time being unless you want to test or try beta 2.
