Tagging tracks?

Wed Nov 05, 2008 4:33 pm
Hi,

I'm new to Amarok but so far it looks good - the interface is clean and it seems to have most things a music player needs.

A question though.

The Magnatune piece is interesting, especially as it gives listeners the opportunity to form an opinion before deciding whether to buy or subscribe, but I can't find a way to tag or flag interesting tracks to follow up.

I have a problem with memory recall (grey-matter has gone mouldy) so the way it works for me now means keeping a separate list-document-thingie of what got played and whether it was interesting, but this is quite cumbersome. Is there a simple way to flag or annotate selected streamed tracks? Some way to use metadata to help keep track of what's hot and what's not?

Hopefully this will be an easy question to answer, otherwise could it translate to a possible feature request please?

Thanks for a nice piece of software.
Steph.
