Guys, I am using version 2:1.4.10 with Kubuntu and am trying to play an .mp4 video but only get audio. Is there a setting that Im not seeing? I looked in the settings but did not even see video settings. Gxine plays them just fine. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

There is no version "2:1.4.10". You must be mixing something up - either you're using Amarok 2.0, or 1.4.

The X: is a way for Debian based distributions to get an older version of something to be viewed as a newer version by the packaging system, so setting the version of 1.4.10 to 2:1.4.10 gets the 1.4.10 packages to be viewed as newer than the 1.9.x packages that had previously been there.

And the answer to the next question:

" and am trying to play an .mp4 video but only get audio"

Is that Amarok is not a video player. Correct?

Correct. There is a video applet in development, but it's not included in 2.0.

Ok, thanks. My mistake. I was under the impression that it was already implemented.
