Just a quick question regarding Amarok 2.0.1.  I am trying to have a playlist that I created in my local collection show up on my iPod.  Is Amarok 2 capable of this like 1.4?

Not yet, but we are working on that.

You can expect this in version 2.1.

Is that really true? Why? It was the best function in Amarok.

I am also not able to sync my playlists with external mp3-players like in 1.X Versions of Amarok.
Can anyone confirm that in the 2.0X version is no such function?

Amarok is UNUSABLE for me if I can not generate Playlists for my Zen Vision.

The reasons why it is not there yet: it's technically hard and I'm a volunteer developer with a demanding dayjob.

But I will now make a promise and make sure playlist synchronization will be there for Amarok 2.2. Xevix is working on the mediadevice support, which mainly involves writing Collections for all the device architectures.
