Hi All,
Today I installed Ubuntu 9.04 Alpha3 on my second Hdd. I tried to install Amarok but from repo I got Amarok 2+ something that I dont like. Where to find the previous version of amarok for install. I prefer .deb file for Amd 64 system Thanks |

You could try to use debs from a previous Ubuntu version or from Debian. Not sure if this works though, but might be worth a try.

As 9.04 is still in Alpha state, not even the Ubuntu developers recommend using it right now. So you're a bit on your own here..

I too wanted to go back to Amarok 1.4 after updating Ubuntu to 9.04
The old Amarok packages for Ubuntu and Debian can be downloaded from here: http://packages.debian.org/en/source/sid/amarok |

Check out this ppa. It was in a thread on the Ubuntu forums earlier.
https://edge.launchpad.net/~bogdanb/+archive/ppa It has version 1.4 for jaunty, although I'm not sure if its for 64 bit. I'd assume so though. |
