Request the return of 'Added Today'

Thu Feb 19, 2009 10:11 pm
Amarok 2, I'm liking it so far..I like the new layout, I like automatic art download... but my second favourite feature of 1.4 is not there.. the ability to filter the playlist to show 'added today' and 'added within 1 week'... it's so useful when it comes to organising downloads, podcasts, etc that I'm not sure I can manage without it. May I respectfully request its return in a future version?

The new playlist in Amarok 2.1 will be much more powerful, and also very configurable. You can read more about it in these two interesting articles:

I think what's meant here is the "added today/last week/month/3 months" filter in the collection menu on the left. I don't see how you could filter a playlist (with whole collection, right?) to show only the ones added within the last x days/weeks/etc

cheers

Use added:"today" or added:<2m2d in the collection filter. No gui for it yet.
