Does anyone know the names of the different parts of the program's main display?  I'm having trouble finding appropriate documentation.

If you are referring to Amarok 2.x, then I can give you a quick start (and yes, I agree that we should be clearer on this):

* Left part: "Browsers" (official name for the sidebars)
* Middle part: "Context View" (a Plasma workspace)
* Right part: "Playlist"


At the top there is the menu, the toolbar, and at the bottom the status bar.
