Stopping a song with Windows + V

Wed Mar 11, 2009 3:14 pm
Just a short note on an otherwise very good programme!

I use Amarok 1.4.10, and like listening to music while doing text work with OpenOffice. This includes a lot of copying and pasting. On my Logitech keyboard the keys CTRL and WINDOWS are right next to eachother. The keyboard has quite small keys. I keep stopping a song when pasting text (CTRL + V) because I touch the WINDOWS key by accident.

Have other people experienced this? Would a different key (less frequently used) than V be possible? Is it different in Amarok 2?

You can change the key bindings - check the Settings menu.

Super, thanks very much!

I simply changed the two shortcuts Window + V and Window + CTRL + V to "none".

Works perfectly!
