How will the changing of the last.fm API change Amarok in the future?

I guess that scrobbling will stay free.

But - will it stay included in Amarok altough last.fm gets more restrictive?
(I would love that!)

Why would it not stay? You've always been able to play last.fm's subscriber-only  streams in Amarok (provided you're a subscriber) - all this means is that there will be a lot more paid subscribers.
