[Feature request] Rockbox support!

Sun Mar 29, 2009 7:00 am
Wouldn't that be awesome? amarok 1.4 did it quite well with the generic media device settings, but I can't seem to get it to work with amarok 2.1 (svn) because my ipod gets "correctly" recognized as an ipod but with no options to not use it as an ipod..

Cheers!

Full Rockbox support would be really great, but I can understand it's not a priority.

But could Amarok at least stop saying my iPod is not initialized? It's kind of annoying to always see the same message prompting. I guess is as simple as checking for the .rockbox directory and if it exist simply ignore the iPod.

please use the latest version of amarok. You can use the rockbox as a standard USB mass storage device, and transfer track to it with the "copy to collection" interface in the right-click menu of the collection browser.
