I posted a question on help 3 or 4 days ago. I also researched the question on help and here. It's very common: how do I make MTP (libmtp) work (1.4.10 on CentOS for an iRiver Clix 2)?

Yet as common as the question is, I can't find any substantive answers here, in the wiki, on google, anywhere. Is this forum for questions only or do people sometimes answer?

Have you checked on your distro's forum? Often hardware related queries go unanswered either because no-one else has the same hardware/problem, or it's something that is specific to the distro rather than Amarok.

Alternatively, if you're looking for a fast response, try IRC - irc.freenode.org, channel #amarok (or search for a CentOS or libmtp chanel).

To be honest, since this is a completely voluntary service, be thankful you get any response at all.
