Hi,
I've recently upgraded to kubuntu jaunty and since I've been an amarok-nightly user for the past ... well almost since it's been around, don't know how long, I'd very much like the updates to continue working and I seem to be getting an error after changing the line deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/project-neon/ubuntu hardy main to deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/project-neon/ubuntu jaunty main in /etc/apt/sources.list This is the error I'm getting:
Is there something I did wrong, a current problem, or simply the case of jaunty still being in beta and thus the neon repo not being ready for it yet? |

Well, generally NEON is only meant for the current release (which is 8.10 at this point). As soon as Jaunty will be officially released, it will become the only supported distro (no more 8.10 support).
That's the way it works, and doing it otherwise would be too much hassle for the maintainers.

Kubuntu Jaunty has been released in the mean time, and as far as I can see it from http://ppa.launchpad.net/project-neon/ubuntu/dists/ , Jaunty is still not supported. Of course it takes some time to update the toolchain. Is there any date when we can expect to be able to use that great service for Jaunty?

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |
