So I had this Idea when I was going through iTunes: Not only can you control the software over your iPhone, your preppy friends can add and vote for different songs over their iPhones. Since I don't have an iPhone and don't like iTunes very much, I was thinking:
This would be an awesome addon for Amarok if it was based on bluetooth. Nearly every smartphone has a bluetooth module nowadays and a dongle for a note/netbook or any other pc doesn't cost that much.
The general idea is: For a party I set up my linux-notebook with amarok and enable this plugin. all the guests can than activate their bluetooth modules and fire up some little software that connects to a local server. There they can see the last songs  played and can vote for upcoming songs.
What do you think? Impossible or something to consider?
