I have some albums, particularly OSTs, whose ID3 tags are incorrect.
Filling them in from musicbrainz don't always end in a correct outcome. But from what I can see, last.fm guesses the correct artist and track names (hopefully also the album name). Is there any way to fill in my ID3v2 tags from last.fm? Any amarok script for that? BTW, what happened to kde-apps search?! There used to be dozens of last.fm scripts there, now I can only find 6 using the search feature! |

As I understand it, the old 1.x scripts will not work in 2.x unless they are converted (to Qt?). My search tonight showed about 15 or 20 scripts, so they are coming.
I would like to know about tags now too. I've also made the jump to KDE 4/ Amarok 2. Valorie |

Correct, Amarok 2 scripts are generally incompatible with Amarok 1 scripts. Amarok 2 uses a completely different system (much more powerful), and only allows QtScript (JavaScript), which offers direct access to Qt.
An overview of Amarok 2 scripting: http://amarok.kde.org/wiki/Development/ ... _HowTo_2.0 Amarok 2 scripts on kde-apps.org: http://kde-apps.org/?xcontentmode=57

I don't understand how you get 15-20. I click http://kde-apps.org/index.php?xcontentmode=56 then on the left search box I type "last.fm" and only get 6 results. Maybe that automatic unremovable "score above 20%" is hidding most results. And for amarok 2, when searching for "last.fm" I get no results! This is so bad =( Something seems broken on the website... that or it just simply stopped liking Opera |
