Splash screen policy is pretty rude

Mon May 04, 2009 10:25 am
Hey Guys
I love Amarok 2, but whenever I start it the first time, the splash screen comes up for a few seconds before Amarok starts. During that time, the screen is set to be always visible, so I can't work for those few seconds.  I have to stare at the splash screen for the hundredth time, twiddling my fingers.  I find that Microsoft-level rude.  Is there a way to change the behavior?

Go to "Settings > Configure Amarok > General" and just disable the splash screen. What about that?
