Spent ages today ........finally got a new album to play on my Aspire netbook.
But although I can get the files to play I cannot get them to add to the collection in the left hand panel? How do you do that? Phil |

And now the usual questions:
Which distribution/version? Which version of Amarok? C'mon, Don't call your car service and say: "My car is broken." and hang up. If you don't know the infos, just go to Settings->Amarok->Collection->mark the folders containing your music and make a scan. Greetings m0nk

Using Amarok 1.4.10
Using KDE 3.5.8-8lp Fedora Runing Linpus Lite on an Acer Aspire One netbook. Tried your suggestion about settings>Amarok etc but it makes no difference. All of my other CDs are neatly organised except for one that I recently added. This one was originally purchased as an ITunes download which was then burned onto a CD, then re-ripped. I've entered all of the track information, but still....I can play the files but they won't organise themselves into the collections. Maybe I'm expecting too much? Phil |
