libre.fm

Libre.fm is starting to look interesting to me:

http://libre.fm/

Put a wishlist item in bugzilla about adding support for it:

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=192088

Hopefully since it is using the Last.fm scrobbling API it will be a no-brainer to get the support in somewhere down the road.

You could edit the hosts file to redirect the last.fm scrobbles to libre.fm:

Open a terminal and type sudo nano /etc/hosts to edit the file with Nano EDIT: new users may prefer to use gedit or kate like so sudo gedit /etc/hosts

Add the line 89.16.177.55    post.audioscrobbler.com near the top, the exact position doesn’t matter but below the 2 localhost entries is a good spot

But I don't want to have to choose one or the other, I would like to do both.

Later, Seeker

Which is not true, check out the scripts on kde-apps.org, it's already there :)

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...
