Hi. I am pretty new to using amarok. I am using amarok 2.0.2 on ubuntu 9.04. I also have windows on my PC(Dual boot) and have all my song on windows. Although i can access the songs using amarok and have them in my collection but i cannot play any of them. When i click them to play it says playing.. but does nothing and sits as if finished the song. I can play all the songs using vlc. I have also tried to copy some songs onto my ubuntu partition and tried playing but with the same result.

Try this:
http://amarok.kde.org/forum/index.php/t ... 116.0.html Running "sudo apt-get install libxine1-ffmpeg" was enough for me. |

Are you using Gnome or KDE?
In KDE, make sure you do not use Pulseaudio as it causes problems with the Xine backend.
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

Musictracker is a third party script, you should check with the author.
