by the way thank you for the feedback related the iPod devices.

But Amarok 2.1.1 has other behaviors:
1. To start Amarok I need to call ( simply click on the icon ) the application twice. The first call, never started Amarok. Similar as the topic: Amarok crashes on startup....

The proposed solution has no effect on my system.
2. Covers even they are downloaded they are not shown in the playlist.
3. It seems Amarok overloaded the system and make it slow.

I am still using the solid Version 1.4

well i don't know how to fix anything but i can narrow it down

i have the exact same version of SuSE, kde and amarok, and no problems here.
so the issue is around something specific to your setup.
