There's a patch at https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=202366 that restores the old functionality.

And another braindead idea of overhauled structures in music industries. It doesn't help in any way to protect the artist's right; the only sense is to disgust also the last buyers of CDs. Fetching lyrics by lyricswiki's api won't do no harm, but would be a positive signal from those ignorant lawyers.
