Importing iTunes to Amarok 2.1.1

Thu Aug 20, 2009 7:03 pm
I have just downloaded and installed Amarok 2.1.1 running on my Fedora 11 system and did "Add Media" where I selected all the directories in my external hard drive's iTunes folder. I then can see all my music on the right side of the application including albums, music and how long the music is.

However, when I play the music, I don't get any audio. The music appears to play correctly in the player including length of time; just no audio.

thoughts?

PS - I did some searching on this issue within the boards but most of the iTunes info was about importing various features and not the music.

Which format is the music in question in? If you have not installed support for proprietary formats such as MP3 / WMA / etc then it is not likely they will be able to play.
