Unfortunately not in this case.
What exactly do you mean by "fully search"? Where? In the collection? And what?
Perhaps an example would be fine.

In amarok2 you only can search in database (left panel) for a title, artist,

I want more, like genre, year, comment, ...
like you can see in screenshot, "fully search" of idtag of mp3 ;-)

That is wrong.
Try complex filtering: The button on the right of the search field in the collection panel.
You can also enter complex expressions in the search field.
Code: Select all
genre:"Country" year:>2006 added:<2d
for example will show you you all tracks with genre Country from 2007 til now which were added today.

I found that but that is not like in amarok 1.4.
Working with complex expressions is not user friendly.
i want to customize my right panel (database)
like i now did in the left panel.

Even then when i use complex expressions doesn't work.
example:
I cannot find "yearwood" in the database
yearwood sings a song with chris isaak --> comment is: With yearwood

Searching the comment field is not possible (yet). That's correct and should be added.
But my example was build with the "Edit filter" button, except the "added:".
And what do you mean with "customize the right panel"? The right panel in Amarok2 is normally the playlist. So, if you want, you can build a playlist layout on your own or you can use this one.
Oh, and btw. normally co-singers are added to the artist with "feat.", so you can search for them.

I don't like the layout of the collection panel
if i can adjust, like i can in the playlist panel, it should be fine.
(exept the searching and displaying for comment field)
I will try amarok 2.2 for a while and we will see.
i just saw that there is also ipod support. So i can move to amarok2.

Manny thanx for helping me out ;-)
