It used to be very helpful in 1.4 to select multiple items (albums, playlists, tracks, etc.) for copying to an attached device. Then you could execute the device copy batch process at a later time.

Now when you select an item such as an album to be copied to an iPod collection it starts copying right away and when you try to select another item you are told you cannot copy it because a copy is already in place.

Very inefficient.

+1 but i dont know how it will work with the current gui for mp3 players/ipods

but i did like that about 1.4.x becuase i rarely had my ipod attached to the pc when i added new music to the computer and it was nice that i could send once there is a device to send it too attached.
