Answering to myself: it seems that this function had effectively been disabled in 2.2.1 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This was one of the most useful function please amarok devs put it back quick !!! |

It was removed because it was responsible for quite some problems and data loss for some users, so it will only come back once the developers find time to eliminate those bugs.
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

Please do not use exclamation marks excessively. It makes you look like a Youtube kiddie. In related news, the feature might return in 2.2.2.

Passerbymc, please search out one of the old bugs and add your report to the one most like your own experience. The developers in charge of this part of the code may need your information and experience.
In order to help, please run Amarok from the console, like this:
Once you have used the Organize function, please paste the last part of the output in your bug report. File names will help too - both those successfully moved, and those lost. Are you *sure* they are lost, by the way? Have you run a search to see if they are merely moved where you didn't expect? Valorie |
