Hello,
I've used amarok1.4.X for DJ-ing for years, very happily. For the type of DJ-ing I do I need a gap between tracks. 1.4 had the no-corssfading insert gap functionality for playback. I'm fine with using Amarok 2.2 except I cannot find this functionality. Yes, I know I can do it using a second of silcence. I also use "silence" tracks of various length, but I would prefer not to have to insert one between every track I play. A global setting would be nice. Any help most appreciated. cheers, Mike. |

Hmm, how to explain this. See, the problem is, Amarok simply is not a "DJ-Application". It's meant to be an all-purpose music player, not specialized on DJs, or musicians, or sound technicians.
So, if we added every request we get for rarely used features (we get tons of them), we would end with a "jack of all trades, master of none". I hope you understand ![]()
