When I add the stream

http://servers.internet-radio.org.uk/to ... 570&t=.pls

Amarok does not play it. It plays just fine in SMplayer.

Is it finicky about the URL format? I think I also tried with m3u and it didn't work (though I can't recall for certain).

UPDATE: Nevermind. I see that Amarok doesn't like the "http://servers.internet-radio.org.uk/tools/playlistgenerator/?u=" prefix though it has no effect on SMPlayer.

That is a very very strange URL. See, I expanded it and put it in Pastebin:

I'm not surprised that it isn't parsed correctly. What you could try: Download the actual .pls file (with wget or so), and then load that in Amarok.

I just deleted the prefix I mentioned in the update to my initial post, and Amarok plays it just fine.

It's odd though, because SMPlayer has no trouble with the weird URL.
