Spec analyzer in Amarok

Fri Mar 05, 2010 12:39 pm
Hello! I was testing the new Clementine app. (Is a port of Amarok 1.4 to Qt4). Of course I like more Amarok 2 (at least for now :-P) But I saw in the old Amarok something that I miss too much. Is the spectrum analyzer.

English is not my mother tongue, so for those who don't know what I'm referring to, you can see this screenshot:

I would really like to have it back in the new Amarok. I think that was a detail that makes Amarok more eye-catching.

I don't know if this was discussed in the past, I looked for it, so let me know If it was discussed and discarded, but it would be a pity for me don't bring it back.

Thank you very much :)

PD: I'm trying to link this to kde brainstorm idea, but I can't, so I'm going to create this like a new idea in kde brainstorm.

You should have a look at this wish: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=199000
You can subscribe to it to be notified if there is a change.

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...
