I can't seem to get crossfading to work on changing tracks and seek during playback. Also a few tracks which play fine on Rhythmbox seem to skip a couple of seconds randomly during playback in Amarok. Sometimes they play fine and sometimes they don't.

I know many people won't like it, but I suppose I am entitled to airing my views since this is a public forum. Amarok is a very good music player and probably getting better, but I took a look at this player called Guayadeque.. it has a funny name but is a actually a very light and superb player with an incredible feature set. Seems to be getting more and more attractive everyday

The developers of Amarok are doing a wonderful job and possess incredible skills of course... but something tells me Guayadeque is a good contender to watch out for
