I'm on Ubuntu 10.04 with Amarok 2.3.2. Inspired by Amarok's file tracking capabilities, I decided to copy all my music files and reorganize them in new folders on my external drive.

I did not expect the stats to be copied as well. And they aren't. But now I really hope that such a thing could be possible. I've read that Amarok used to keep track of filed based on their file size/length and other things that should be the same for both copies of the files.

Can it be done?
