Hi There,

My Amarok had crashed after I entered an artist name into the filter field to pull up some music in my local collection.
After that, my Amarojk wouldn't start anymore, I only see the splash screen and in the console i see only this:

What's going on here? How can I reset this but keep my player statistics and so on in my .amarok folder?

Ron, it will help if you run

amarok --debug --nofork

at least twice (because the debug turns on the second run, I don't know why).

Also, please tell us 1. what Amarok version 2. what KDE version and 3. your distro.

It's also worth trying moving or removing ~/.kde/share/apps/amarok/current.xspf, which is the current playlist file and is frequently the cause of startup crashes.
