Hello All,
I may be showing off my ignorance so please be patient. I am running Amarok 2.4.0, KDE 4.6.2, on Kubuntu 11.04. My mp3 player is an Archos 504. I am trying to use Amarok to manage it, but I seem to be having a little trouble. When I connect as a "Windows Media Device" Amarok sees it and all the songs, but it does not see the playlists. Why is that? Can it be easily fixed? Thanks, Craigbert |

Hi Craigbert
Do you happen to know if your player is using the MTP protocol or does it act as a generic USB mass storage device? MTP should support user playlists, but of course all sorts of things can go wrong. Bart |

http://www.archos.com/support/download/ ... -_v2.2.pdf seems to suggest it can support both. I guess you are using the MTP mode and as far as I know playlists should show up in amarok. The code is less then stellar quality though and I'm quite reluctant to dive into it, I would rather finish my reimplementation of the USB mass storage collection so you can use that.
