Replacing file, preserving metadata

Sat Dec 10, 2011 7:48 pm
Hello,

I have a large number of flac files converted to mp3. The flacs are not in my amarok library whereas the flacs are. Now I would like to change that. Remove the the mp3 files and replace them with flacs of the same name (besides the extension). Is there any way that Amarok recognize this replacement and thus taking over the library metadata to the new files (playcount, score, ...)?

Thanks!

:-)

Hahaha, sorry can not resist. I encountered so many breakage with the database-drive collection, it's just funny :D So my wild guess...uhm, no?
