Current git 15.04.2012 doesn't build here:
/usr/lib64/gcc/x86_64-suse-linux/4.6/../../../../x86_64-suse-linux/bin/ld: cannot find -lssl Installed is: libopenssl-devel-1.0.0e-34.9.1.x86_64 libopenssl1_0_0-1.0.0e-34.9.1.x86_64 openssl-1.0.0e-34.9.1.x86_64 Just to inform you. It is Git, I know m0nk

That's a library finding issue, and certainly nothing we've changed. Try clearing your build folder and running a clean build; it's likely some sort of caching issue after the libs changed.

Linking CXX shared module ../../../../../../lib/amarok_collection-mysqlecollection.so
/usr/lib64/gcc/x86_64-suse-linux/4.6/../../../../x86_64-suse-linux/bin/ld: cannot find -lssl collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make[2]: *** [lib/amarok_collection-mysqlecollection.so] Fehler 1 make[1]: *** [src/core-impl/collections/db/sql/mysqlecollection/CMakeFiles/amarok_collection-mysqlecollection.dir/all] Fehler 2 make: *** [all] Fehler 2 Already done, result see above. Cmake finds ssl btw. EDIT: Testinstall of Spotify sh** and all the links needed messed it up. It is working now again. m0nk

I can't reproduce that at all, maybe something is wrong with your installation? Because the location of ssl should be really standard, regardless of what distribution.
Did you try with a clean build?
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |
