I'm exactly in the same situation: I usually listen to radios that don't stream any metadata. So I wrote a little script to fetch this metadata from the radio website.

It works pretty well, but then my problem is that I don't know where to display this information in Amarok UI.
I would like to be able to access to the toolbar, and change the song information: artist, title, album... But the script API doesn't allow that. So, for the moment I display the metadata in the status bar, in the bottom leftt corner. Didn't find a better place. But it's not a very pretty solution.

Do you have know if there is a better way to display this information ?
