How about putting a small 1 pixel frame around the album cover..? Like on the screenshot above.

I suggested this today, and they said about some context themes... not really sure.

1. Would it be possible to iCandy up these widgets a little? I saw a cool screenshot somewhere where there was some kde theme that made these kind of rounded and they stood out from the top seperatly. It would be cool if they could look like this all the time. If you cant really imagine what i mean, let me know and il try hunt down the screenshot

well, the colors are just wrong. iirc, mxcl said something about fixing these amarok-color-scheme issues before 1.2.

2. I would recomend making the text here white. As you can see its a little hard to see on the \'funky monkey\' theme.

couldn\'t harm. but we\'re planning some changes for the repeat-1 / repeat-all setting, anyways.

4. Notice the gap under the track listing.. How about putting the equaliser here? If blended in it could look great and be much more useful and easy to access than having to select it from the menu.

well, this is rarely the case. in my case, i always get a vertical scrollbar, because there\'s quite some more information (5 other albums, suggested & favorite songs). also the equalizer ain\'t that important right? normally, you setup your eq and you\'ll barely open the dialog again, once you\'ve found the right settings...

There\'s only one place where your wrong and thats regarding the eq. One of the other developers (markey i think it was, was saying that he didnt really think there was too much point in it either. (even though it was him who finally coded it!)
But you see the eq isnt just a \'maybe\' addon. It is a must. I guarantee you. And too show you that it isnt just me who likes the eq, check out this months \'Linux Format\' magazine(dunno if you\'ve heard of it but it gave amarok a great review a few monthes back ) Well it did a round up this month of all the main music players for linux. Guess who won..that\'s right amarok! It scrored 9/10 and, if you can get hold of the mag, they made a huge point that the eq was the only thing they were missing(they were reviewing 1.1.1) and if it was there it would possibly have got 10/10 which beleive me, they dont hand out often! So lets not see poor old eq shoved to the side!
