I just compiled from source the Beta 2 version of Amarok. I\'m running Fedora Core 3 and I installed all the dependencies.

The install went without a hitch and I was able to start it up as root right after install.

The problem is that when I start it with a regular user account it crashes. It gives either of these 2 errors.

[code:1][chenu@localhost ~]# amarok
[amaroK] Connecting to /root/.kde/socket-localhost.localdomain/amarok.loader_socket
[amaroK] Starting amarokapp..
[amaroK] If you want a backtrace, run gdb against amarokapp, not amarok!
kbuildsycoca running...
QLayout: Adding KToolBar/playlist_toolbar (child of QVBox/unnamed) to layout for PlaylistWindow/PlaylistWindow
QPainter::begin: Cannot paint null pixmap[/code:1]

or

[code:1][chenu@localhost ~]$ amarok
Xlib: connection to \":0.0\" refused by server
Xlib: No protocol specified

amarok: cannot connect to X server :0.0[/code:1]

Is this a known bug or is there some way for me to fix it, if you need any more information please ask.
