well, i compiled with mysql in the configure line, but the default is set to sqllite. i realized since today it is possible to switch sqllite vs mysql in the settings, that is nice, though:

if configured using mysql, shouldnt the default be mysql as well then?

i am aware about audioscrobbler haveing problems updating stats, and all that, but i know from fellowchaps that the \"recent stats\" ist always updated. it also works for me using CVS version january 6th.

No because distros might compile with mysql extensions. Not everyone compiiles amaroK themself.
